Embark on an Extraordinary Journey
At the end of last year, we embarked on a great adventure as a family. Together, we crossed the Atlantic on a Lagoon 42 catamaran, fulfilling a long-planned family project.
This journey came after four years of planning, starting with virtually zero sailing experience.
Our children are taking a gap year from school, Peter took a sabbatical, and Doreen continues to run her business from the boat. We rented out our apartment in Hamburg, packed up the kids and the essentials, and moved onto our catamaran – our new floating home.
The most important reason for this: to truly experience life. Our motto: “Living life to the fullest.”
We wanted to show our children that it’s possible to achieve big dreams. To illustrate what it means to realize those dreams, create unforgettable experiences with the family, and simultaneously run a successful business. We didn’t want to choose between them anymore – we wanted to experience having both. ❤️
We didn’t wait for everything to be perfect. We made a decision despite all obstacles.
And now, we want to show others that it’s possible. We want to demonstrate that it can work.
